The Huawei Band 6 is a fitness-centered smartband that is designed to track your heart rate, steps, stress, Spo2, and sleep. It is a very lightweight and comfortable to wear tracker. Beyond the awesome-looking design and lots of fitness tracking features, it has a long battery life of about 2 weeks. Moreover, it takes about an hour to fully charge the smartband. How to Charge the Huawei Band 6
To charge the Huawei Band 6 follow the steps below.
- First, you need to understand that the Huawei Band 6 uses a magnetic charger that magnets to two charging points at the back of the smartband. When the USB end is properly connected to a power source and the magnetic points attached to the back of the smartband, it will start charging.
- The next thing to do is to connect the charger to a power source. I couldn’t find any power rating in the box with regards to the charger. However, you can plug the USB end into your laptop’s USB port or to the USB port of your phone charger. Obviously, a power rating of 110-220V is safe. Though lesser power sources like that of a laptop will also charge the smartband without any problems whatsoever. I haven’t had any issue charging the smartband using my laptop.
- Next, you need to align the charger in such a way that the cord of the charger points in the same direction as the side physical button. Then attach the charger to the two charging points at the back of the device. If the charger is in the right direction, it will stick to the back of the Huawei Band 6, and you should see the device is charging.
It takes me just about an hour to fully charge the battery. It’s also awesome to know that you can get up to two weeks of battery life when the device is fully charged. Nonetheless, reducing display brightness and screen timeout will get you a longer battery life.
